Very good condition in a poor dustwrapper.
Ladybird Series 417. Grey boards with colour vignette and titles. Also contains: THE NEW FISHING NET. Spine and corners bumped. Some faint evidence of erased pencil writing to top margin of title-page. Otherwise contents clean. Dustwrapper has top 1.5" missing to both front and rear panels (and spine), remainder of wrapper is torn and grubby, tape repairs on verso.

Almost very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Series 401. Buff boards with square pictorial onlay to front and titles. Bumping along couple of cover edges. Some light green pencil colouring to front endpaper. Free front endpaper has an extensive ink drawing of a person to it. Some of the b/w illustrations above text to text pages have the characters tails coloured with biro. Ink tick and cross marks to other ladybird titles page to rear of book. Pictorial wrapper has ink underlining to titles on rear flap, edge-tear to front flap, and a few other smaller edge-tears and nicks. Name in pencil written across front of front panel. A few other smaller marks to wrapper. Overall, still a good copy of this scarce item.

Ladybird Series 474. A Tasseltip Tale. Pictorial paper boards. Spine and corners are bumped and worn. Top of spine has roughly 1/2 cm missing. Gift inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. 2" tear vertically up one page, next to spine. Contents are still bright. Pictorial wrapper is price-cut, edge-chipped, with a few inch edge-tears, that have been repaired to verso with sticky tape. Some small pieces of loss to corners. Grubby marks to rear panel. Overall, still a very good copy of this rarer ladybird title.

Pictorial wrapper is edge-torn and chipped, with 1.5" loss to base of spine, top of spine torn for 1.5". A few other closed tears that have been repaired with sticky tape to verso. Some small surface paper patches of damage.

Large closed repaired tear also to front panel.

Contents are lovely and bright. Pictorial wrapper is foxed and browned to verso; also has small tape repairs to verso; some chipping to edges and a few small patches of loss to top and tail of spine, also has tear hole to spine in middle, with a little loss. Small patch of loss also to top of front panel. Still a nice copy of this rarer item.

Very good condition in a good dustwrapper.
Ladybird Series 474. A Tasseltip Tale. Pictorial paper boards. 1cm loss to base of spine. Couple of small splits to top of spine, with a little chipping and small piece of loss. Corners are bumped and a little worn. Inscription in ink to edition page. A few grubby margin marks. Binding is starting to weaken at spine. Pictorial wrapper has 3/4 of rear flap torn out and missing; Just under an inch loss to base of spine and other chips with loss to edges. A few edge-tears. Still a nice copy of one of the rarer Ladybird books, in its original wrapper!
