Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. A selection of stories and rhymes chosen, arranged and in some part rewritten by Mare. Red decorated cloth with gilt title and vignette to spine. B/w text illustrations. 420 pages.

Spine bumped. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Foxing to endpapers and textblock. Dustwrapper is edge worn and grubby, browned to spine with some loss at top of spine.
