Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. Burgundy textured boards with gilt titles to front and spine. Blue, white and black pictorial endpapers. Colour frontis. B/w and two-tone illustrations.

2nd impression. Spine and corners bumped. Fading to top and tail of spine. Spine slightly faded with faint 'enid blyton' transferred from dustwrapper. Foxing to contents and textblock. Dustwrapper is foxed on verso, edge chipped with slight loss to spine and rear panel and spine grubby.
