Almost very good condition. Green cloth with pictorial onlays to spine and front cover; decoration borders. Gilt titles to spine. Black titles in gilt title block. Colour frontis and half-title page. B/w illustrations. 343 pages.
Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Mark to pictorial onlay on front and gilt a little rubbed. Pictorial only on spine is very rubbed as is author's name. Light marks to rear board. Front joint and a few hinges are cracked. Name in ink to top of half title page. Foxing mostly to prelims and page edges. Top edge of text block is a bit grubby. Some fingering otherwise contents generally clean.
