KILLER DOG
Illustrated by Sheila Rose
Published by Collins. 1st. 1959
Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. The Hawkes and their sheep farming neighbours are suffering from an unknown 'killer dog' that is attacking their flocks. Suspicion centres on two dogs. Each dog is fiercely defended by its owners. Eventually, after a long night of vigil on Romney Marsh, they discover the secret of the unknown attacker, who always strikes at dawn... Blue boards, silver title to spine. B/w illustrations.
Fading to ends of spine. A couple of tiny light spots to rear cover. Ink name and date to front endpaper. Tiny ink stamp '27' to rear pastedown. Contents otherwise clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped with slight loss from top of spine. Tears to base of spine, small triangle detached but held in place by clear tape on verso. Spine ever so slightly faded.
