Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Stories to help children understand and enjoy the wonders of country life and the growing of food products in the garden. The Waterboy is a water molecule that dances down from the clouds and visits all the plant folk i.e. The Bean-Baby, Mother Corn Stalk etc. Beige cloth covers with brown and blue vignettes and titles. Colour frontis and b/w illustrations. 172 pages.
A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. Light browning to endpapers and page edges. A lot of foxing to verso of half-title and title page, just a couple of spots elsewhere. Dustwrapper has a few tears and some loss, mostly from ends of spine and folds. A bit grubby and spine and folds darkened.
