ZOO QUEST TO MADAGASCAR
Published by Lutterworth Press. 1st. 1961
Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. The full account of four months David Attenborough spent travelling several thousand miles throughout the island of Madagascar to meet the varied peoples whose origin stems from the Far East rather than from nearby Africa, study their local customs, and film some of the remarkable animals which occur nowhere else in the world. Blue cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos and 5 colour photos.
Light wear to top & tail of spine, very narrow band of browning to horizontal edges of boards. Text block browned. Contents clean. Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper has a couple of closed tears repaired with tape, edges-rubbed, rear panel a little grubby. Overall a decent copy.
