Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. The story of the author's mother's family and how they lived, lvoed, fought and worked on, and for, nineteen acres of mixed land in Mayo, the battlefields of France, the Republican movement at home, or amid the sick of Brooklyn, New York. Blue cloth boards, gilt title to spine.
Spine faded, top & tail of spine more-so. Name & date in ink to front endpaper. Text block browned. A few minor marks and foxspots to endpapers. Dustwrapper is worn at edges with loss to top of spine, and a few small closed tears.
