Very good condition in a slightly better than very good dustwrapper. A biography. Didier Pironi was the archetypal racing driver, a woman in every port, wealthy and good looking. He appeared to have it all but it was never enough. His ambition was to become the first French Formula One World Champion and he was going to do that what ever it cost to achieve the reult, no matter who he upset on route. Was he just a highly motivated man or was he dour and calculating as often reported? Red cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos.
Small nick to base of spine and lower front corner. Contents clean. Red pictorial dustwrapper is lightly rubbed at corners, lightly scuffed and lightly faded to spine.
