Almost very good condition. Two volumes. Large format. Blue/grey cloth spine with gilt title, blue cloth boards. Volume I: 4 color plates of eggs, 56 color plates of birds. Vol II: 4 color plates of eggs, 51 color plates of birds, appendix and index. Colour plates have tissue-guards. Top edges gilt, other edges untrimmed.
Ex-Lib with bookplate to front pastedown of both volumes and card pocket to rear pastedown. Not dated. A few marks and scuffs to boards, crinkling to cloth on rear board of volume II. Edges are lightly rubbed, corners are bumped. Endpapers & text block browned. Volume I: Egg plates are MISSING, plate 11 is detached but present. All plates otherwise present.
