IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF MARCO POLO: BEING AN ACCOUNT OF A JOURNEY OVERLAND FROM SIMLA TO PEKIN

by Clarence Dalrymple Bruce

Published by William Blackwood and Sons. 1st. 1907

Almost very good condition. A journey made by the author, written up for those less fortunate than himself in opportunities they may have had for gratifying that passion for wandering which is inherent in the Anglo-Saxon race, and to afford them a few hours of interest and amusement. Red cloth, gilt titles and vignette. B/w plates. Folding map to end of volume. Top edge gilt.

Spine lightly browned. Corners bumped. Some mottling to covers. Front and rear joints just starting to crack. Name in ink to front free endpaper. A little foxing to contents. All plates present. Map has some edge-creasing and pale fox-spots but generally very good.
