Almost very good condition.
Large format. Cream/beige cloth spine with black title and illustration, pictorial front board showing boy and girl making a daisy chain. Colour plates and b/w illustrations. First story is "After The Party" by Barnes. Spine, corners and cover edges bumped and worn. Covers grubby with some scratches. Spine browned. One hinge cracked. Light stain to bottom of front endpapers. Some margin tears. A few marks and fox spots to contents but many pages are clean.

Grubby fingermarks to contents mainly to margins. Some foxing. All plates present.

Corners bumped and worn. Bottom edge of front board worn. Other edges rubbed. Light browning to edge of rear board and a few marks to front board. Browning to endpapers and prelims. Name and inscription to verso of frontis. A few foxspots to page edges. Some marks to text block edge otherwise contents generally clean.

Spine and corners bumped with wear. Nasty dent to lower edge of front cover and some nicks along top edge. Rear cover slightly grubby, a couple of light scratches to front cover. Text block is grubby with some foxing. Contents very good. All plates present.

Small piece of surface paper damage to onlay. One hinge cracked. Endpapers browned. Just a few small marks to contents. Browning to some pages alongside stitching.

Ameliaranne is in charge of the school while Miss Pennywinn goes to the city. Coloured pictorial boards and coloured pictures throughout. 8.5 x 6". Light wear to corners. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Pictorial wrapper has a few closed edge-tears with minor chips to corners and one score mark to rear panel.
