Blue cloth boards with red decorations. B/w drawings. xi & 209 pages plus publisher adverts to rear. Second issue with 'J.J. Little & Co.' printed to verso of title page. Boards damp mottled and faded, top & tail of spine worn with a little loss. Front joint split revealing cloth beneath. Inscriptions and ink stamps to first blank page. Foxing and dampstaining to top edges throughout. Hinges pulled but tight. A working copy of the early work.

A nice copy overall.
