Almost very good condition.
A Collection of Stories - first four by Henty. 8 b/w plates. Russet pictorial cloth with gilt title boxes. 398 pages. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Board edges a little bumped and worn. Gilt on front a little worn. Covers grubby. Some hinges cracked but binding still tight. Inscription to half title page. Foxing mainly to prelims and page edges. Some light fingering to page margins. Small ink mark affecting edge of a few pages.

Tape/glue residue with some paper residue to edges of pastedowns. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. Foxing to endpapers, outer page edges and some page margins. Some grubby margin marks. One plate is partially detached.
