Almost very good condition in a good dustwrapper.
Red cloth, black titles and vignettes to front and spine. 192 pages. Colour plates plus b/w text illustrations throughout. First story is "Exchange No Robbery" by Gilson. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Some marks to front free-endpaper. Heavy foxing. Price-cut wrapper is worn and chipped with loss, spine is browned and there is a creased tear to rear panel.

First year of publication. Green cloth spine, pictorial front cover showing Scout with flag and bugle. First story is "Luck of the Leopard" by Stacey Blake. 4 colou plates, b/w illustrations. Spine bumped. Covers are edge worn and a bit grubby. Name plate to front pastedown. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper has been blotted out with blue biro scribbles. Belongs to box filled in. Small word in ink to verso of frontis. Frontis is detached but still present. Heavy foxing and some fingering to contents. Hinges are a little pulled causing contents to be slightly loose (binding still tight).

B/w plates and text illustrations. Spine slightly bumped and rubbed. Corners bumped and worn. Some wear to cover edges. Tiny bookseller's sticker to front pastedown. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Name in ink in belongs to box. Endpapers are browned. Heavy foxing to textblock and some page margins.

Q1441 in pen to front endpaper and small smudge to top corner. Foxing, mainly to text block and prelims. A few marks to contents.

Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Cream cloth, large pictorial onlay to spine and front board, front board shows boy cooking over an open fire whilst girl is passing sticks for fire. First story is 'The Griffins' by Florence Harrison. Colour frontis shows 'The Brownie Gets His Cream'. Colour & b/w illustrations. Boards clean, worn at corners. Name in ink to front pastedown. A few minor foxspots and light marks to margins. Colour plate "She bore away from the danger" has been neatly trimmed away on bottom margin (about an inch missing) but still bears the title of the plate and has a few small closed tears to vertical edge. Pictorial wrapper has neat inscription in ink to front panel, is edge-worn and has loss at edges. Overall, still a decent copy.
