Translated by Herbert J. Hunt and with an introduction by Graham Robb. Brown cloth spine, gilt title. Beautiful bronze silk cloth with gilt peacock decorations. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations. xvi and 584 pages. Some faint mottling to spine. Title block is lightly rubbed. Lower edge of text block has minor browning and a tiny amount of grubbiness. Overall, a lovely copy contained in publisher's slipcase which is lightly scuffed.
