Very good condition in a poor dustwrapper.
Dark blue boards, pale title to spine. B/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped, light fading to cover edges. Small dent to top edges of covers. Name and address in ink to half title-page. Pages are browned throughout but otherwise clean. Dustwrapper is edge chipped with loss, large section of loss to lower front corner. Rear panel of wrapper is slightly grubby.

Month by month as the seasons unfold, Jane discovers the fascination of country lore, the ways of animals and birds, the beauty of trees and wild flowers, and the satisfying rhythm of seed-time and harvest. Spine slightly bumped and faded. Endpapers partly and lightly browned. Contents are clean. Dustwrapper is slightly edge rubbed and a little grubby to rear panel.

Almost very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
A gripping and fast-moving adventure story about the Lone Pine Club set on Dartmoor. Cream boards, red titles. Endpapers show sketch of the Moor. B/w illustrations. 244 pages. Boards a little browned. Text block foxed. Front endpaper browned. Some foxing to contents. Two small pieces of tape repair to gutter of last page and verso of rear endpaper. Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper has a tape mark to front flap, is edge-worn iwth a small tape repair to front lower edge, and is grubby to rear panel.

A Lone Pine Story. Red cloth, black titles. Full-page b/w illustrations plus b/w maps to the endpapers. 200 pages. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Inscription in ink and some pencil markings (old price and date) to half title-page. Light foxing to textblock and top edge of textblock slightly grubby. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is a bit grubby to spine and rear panel, is edge worn with slight loss at corners and spine ends and is lightly creased. A nice copy of a scarce Lone Pine title.
