Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
New edition. Tales of fishing between the two world wars. Blue boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. 143 numbered pages. ISBN: 0856179507. Spine slightly bumped and faded. Some erased pencil writing to front free-endpaper. Dustwrapper is edge rubbed and faded to spine (which is also slightly grubby).

Blue cloth, gilt title to spine. 48 b/w pencil sketches. Dampstains to edges of covers. Tiny wormhole to side of spine. Name plate to front pastedown. Wrapper has very large piece missing to front.

Negley Farson
James Scott Negley Farson (May 14, 1890 – December 13, 1960), was an American author and adventurer. A renowned fisherman, Farson wrote one of the classics of fishing literature, Going Fishing. The story of his life is told in his two volumes of autobiography: The Way Of a Transgressor and A Mirror for Narcissus.
