An Entirely New and Revised Edition. 6 volumes. A practical work on prime movers and the transmission of power steam, electric, water, gas, and hot air. Green cloth, gilt titles. B/w photos and illustrations. 2 volumes have elaborate colour diagrams at front of book. Top & tail of spines worn with fraying to cloth. Volume I - spine is split to both sides and backstrip is worn, one hinge is broken so that contents are in two halves. Foxing to text blocks. Contents are generally clean. A good working copy.
