THE OBSERVER'S BOOK OF BRITISH BIRDS
Published by Frederick Warne & Co Ltd.. 1st. 1937
Almost very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Observers book No. 1. Brown cloth with black titles to spine and front. Describing two hundred and twenty-six species with 200 illustrations, 100 of which are in full colour.
Damp spotting along edges of covers. Name to front endpaper. Hinge next to half-title page is partially cracked. Contents are still excellent. Wrapper has become a bit faded in places. Edge-chipped with a few tears and small pieces of loss. What looks like ink splash marks and dark brown spots, also to wrapper. Still remarkably full wrapper for its age.
