Pure and Applied Mathematics; A Series of Monographs and Textbooks. This book will be valuable as an introduction to certain fundamental aspects of algebraic geometry. The primary aim of the monograph is to give a self-contained exposition of Zariski's famous memoir. A secondary aim is to partially expand some of the results to nonzero characteristic. A basic knowledge of commutative algebra is the only prerequisite for understanding the book. A few light marks to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is edge-creased with a few small chips and nicks.
