Stock no. 1830976
Published by Hamish Hamilton Ltd. 1st 1983. Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.

The author has breathed new life and new death into the genre of the ghost story, a brilliant exercise in atmosphere and controlled horror. Arthur is too disturbed by his memories to share his story aloud, so he writes it down. Green boards with gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. 160 pages. ISBN: 0241109876. Light discolouration to spine and board edges. Lower board edges have a minor stain. Contents clean.
