A collection of stories about the days when the world was brand new, and the animals were still making up their minds just what they wanted to be. Blue mottled boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. 72 pages. Spine slightly bumped and rubbed. Endpapers partly browned with a few light foxspots. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn and torn with slight loss to base of spine, crease and tear to lower corner of rear panel and slightly grubby on rear.

Dustwrapper is edge worn and grubby with foxing and large damp stain to top edge of rear panel. Minimal loss to top and tail of spine, some closed tears which have been repaired with magic tape on verso.
