Good condition in a poor dustwrapper.
A comprehensive history of the famous Brooklands Motor Course at Weybridge in Surrey covering the period of 1906 to 1940, when the Track was in active use as a venue for motor-racing, testing and record-breaking. Blue cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos. xv and 368 pages including index. Boards heavily mottled. Name label to front pastedown (hidden by front flap of dustwrapper). Foxing to text block and throughout contents (not too heavy). Price-cut blue dustwrapper is repaired and strengthened with mostly clear tape (now yellowed with age), repair to rear panel has a white label, dustwrapper is grubby. Also contains relevant newspaper articles loosely inserted.

Large format. The whole story of motor racing from the reliability trial of 1894 through to modern Grand Prix racing. Colour and b/w photos. ISBN: 0356151220. Wear to cover edges. Browning to endpapers and page edges. Wrapper is edge-creased with small tear to top of spine; browned to spine and edges.
