Dark blue laminated boards. Front cover shows Rupert and chums in a flying saucer. First story - Rupert and the Magic Ball. Includes Magic Paintings. Spine has a little loss to top and tail, repaired with tape. Corners worn. NOT Price-cut or inscribed. 3 magic paintings have been touched. There are two repaired closed tear to magic painting pages. Some margin marks.

For young people edited by Mrs Gatty. Red three quarter leather binding with marbled boards and text block. Raised bands to spine with gilt lines and titles. Black title block. Contains November 1868 to April 1869. B/w illustrations. 380 pages. Spine worn with chip from top and bottom edge. Bumping to corners. Wear to corners, cover edges and some of leather. Slight loss from edge of marbling on front cover. Slight scuffing to marbling. Marks to pastedowns, appear to correspond with leather. Pencil writing about contents to title page. A few marks/fingermarks to prelims, contents generally clean.

The third Rupert annual. 1st story Rupert and the Daffodils. Colour pictorial boards. Red cloth spine. 126 pages. 10x7.5". Covers are edge worn, spine and corners bumped. Front joint is almost broken. Name and address in ink in belongs to box. Margin tear to base of title-page. Some page corner tips creased. Hinges cracked, some very weak, because of cracked joints/hinges front cover doesn't sit as is should. Some grubby fingermarks to page margins.

Blue patterned boards with gilt titles to front. Contains 9 issues (January - September). Colour frontis, b/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Board edges are rubbed. Some darkening to boards and a few marks. Front Joint cracked meaning frontis is partially detached. Rear joint is also cracked as are several hinges meaning the binding is a little loose. Possibly two plates and rear endpaper missing. Inscription in ink to front endpaper (dated 1927) and to verso of frontis. Some colouring of b/w illustrations. Some page browning. Grubby marks. A reading copy only.

Spine bumped and worn with small splits and some fraying. Corners worn, piece chipped from outside edge of slightly bowed front cover. Spine and covers a little grubby. Front joint and a couple of hinges starting to crack. Some foxing. A few grubby marks to contents page but rest of contents generally clean.

Spine slightly cocked. Corners worn. Small foxspots to boards. Spine browned and has a 1" split to top rear edge. Small patch of surface paper loss to front board just above the 'RT' of 'Rupert'. Name in belongs to box. NOT price-cut. Closed repaired tear to lower margin of page 63 (very neat and no loss). Rupert's Garden Puzzle faintly completed. Contents are clean.
