Name plate to front pastedown, name and address in pencil to front free-endpaper. Hinges pulled and joints cracked causing contents to be a little loose. Frontis has been re-inserted with tape which has now browned with age. Unfortunately 2 of the b/w plates are MISSING.

Dustwrapper is edge worn with minimal loss, rear flap fold has been reinforced with tape on verso.

Biggles is on the trail of an extraordinary series of murders. History and excitement combine to make this a thrilling detective story. Red boards, black lettering. B/w illustrations. 159 pages. Spine slightly bumped. Front pastedown has become slightly unstuck from cover allowing the front board to slide back when the book is closed (hard to explain - see picture!). Contents bright and clean. Price-cut wrapper is slightly edge rubbed and scuffed with a small patch of surface paper damage to rear panel.
