Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
How Mr Popplecorn pretended he was a boy again by keeping hens and collecting their eggs. Cloth spine, pictorial boards. Full-page colour and two-tone text illustrations. Wear along cover edges. Bookplate to verso of front endpaper. Foxing to outer page edges. Wrapper is price-cut with creasing, edge-tears and chips; a little loss and some grubby marks.

Green pictorial cloth with red titles to front board and black titles to spine. 24 colour illustrations. 103 pages. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Spine a little faded and browned. White marks to rear board. Boards are grubby. Front joint badly cracked showing webbing beneath. Rear joint and several hinges cracked making the binding a little loose. Bottom of most pages detached. Pencil scribble to front endpaper and a couple of blank pages. 'The End' and some pencil lines to last text page. A few small edge tears. Grubby marks and some foxing to contents.
