Light rubbing to corners. Foxing to endpapers. Contents browned. Prelims slightly grubby. Else contents clean. Map to rear present and has a small crease.

Burgundy cloth boards, gilt title to spine. ix and 367 pages plus 32 pages of Bohn's Library list to rear. Spine faded and worn at top & tail, lightly rubbed at edges. Boards lightly marked, light fading to top margin of rear board. Spine slightly cocked. Text block browned. Endpapers marked with age, front endpaper has an area where a label has been removed and so the colour is less faded in this rectangle. Page browning. A nice copy considering its age!
