Large format approx. 12.5 x 9.5". Cloth spine, pictorial front cover, advert to rear. Colour and b/w illustrations. 100 pages. Some Louis Wain illustrations. Spine bumped, wear to cover edges, heavy wear to corners. Covers a bit grubby. Front joint badly cracked showing webbing. Belongs to box completed neatly in pen. Contents are edge browned with a few margin tears and an odd fingermark but generally very good.

Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Fading to spine and rear cover. Covers mottled and marked. Two letters in ink to front pastedown. Half-title page and tissue guard to frontis very browned. All colour plates present, tear to top margin of one whilst does reach illustration. Just a few fox spots. Contents mostly clean just an odd mark.

Very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper.
The Adventures in the Air of Jacque and Jacqueline, two little children of Verdun. After both parents are killed in one day during the war the two children are picked up by a man bird with big wings and a man's body and fly around Europe. Red paper boards with gilt title to front cover. 6 Colour and 12 b/w illustrations. 61 pages. Spine bumped with slight damage to base. Wear to lower corners and a few small bumps and a nick to lower edges. Large ink inscription to front endpaper. Small patch of erased writing to pastedown. Small bookseller's sticker to rear pastedown. Light browning to endpapers. Contents are generally clean, just an odd mark. Dustwrapper is edge worn and creased with small tears and chips to ends of spine and folds. Spine browned, panels darkened with marks.
