Another delightful tale in the Church Mice series. Large oblong format. Glazed pictorial boards. Colour illustrations. ISBN: 0333305493. Bookplate to front pastedown. Tape marks to very edges of pastedowns. Inscription in ink to title page, which also has large crease. Some page edge browning. Wrapper is price-cut with tape marks to flaps; a little faded to spine.

Spine and corners bumped. A few pale marks to covers. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Hinges cracked. Name and address in ink to rear endpaper and small booksellers sticker to pastedown. A nice copy of a scarce little book.

Rear cover is blank. 5 tipped-in colour plates (one duplicating the onlay to front cover) plus b/w text illustrations throughout. Spine and corners bumped and slightly rubbed. Rear cover slightly browned. Endpapers lightly browned and light page edge browning throughout.
