Some fold out maps. B/w photos. Volume I is third impression 1954, Volume II & III are first editions 1954.Volume I has small white mark to front board, small patch of fading from sunlight to spine in same place there is a hole to spine of dustwrapper. Light browning and foxing to text blocks and endpapers. Contents are generally clean. Binding is tight. Blue dustwrappers are a little edge-worn with a few small closed tears, spines are faded and worn, a little browned.

Hinge between page 8 & 9 pulled but binding is tight.
