Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
This book is written by an architect who has become a professional writer and photographer. It reveals all the technical tricks of the trade simply and without jargon, and at the same time shows how people, using their cameras, may learn to understand, love and enjoy architecture in a direct way without having to carry too heavy a burden of dull and passionless academicism. Large format. Grey cloth boards, red title to spine. B/w photos. 208 pages including index. Boards are clean. Text block lightly browned. Some foxing present, mainly to endpapers. Else contents clean. Grey dustwrapper is grubby and has some foxing.

Edward Weston was the first photographer ever to receive a Guggenheim fellowship. This book celebrates Huntington Library's extraordinary collection of five hundred Edward Weston photographs, all of them selected and printed for the institution by the artist in the 1940s. Colour photos throughout. ISBN: 0714841757. Board edges lightly knocked else a lovely copy. Pictorial dustwrapper is heavily faded to spine (no title visible) and is slightly grubby.

Terry Friedman has assembled Goldsworthy's lyrical photographs of his own works plus interviews and essays by ten contributors. ISBN: 0500511721. Lower board corners bumped and thus lower margins of first half of contents are also creased (dropped?). Green ink has imprinted from facing colour page onto page 73 lower corner (margin, not affecting text). Otherwise, contents are lovely. Pictorial dustwrapper has narrow band of vertical fading along the front edge of spine, lightly creased at lower corners.

First colour plate, 'Vison of a Reign' is almost detached. Hinges a little pulled but binding is tight. Contents are generally clean with a little minor foxing.
