Fine condition in a nearly fine dustwrapper.
Tracing the origins and growth of the cult of St. George, arguing that, especially after Edward's death, George came to represent a "good" politics and could be used to rebuke subsequent kings of their poor governance. Brown cloth boards, gilt title to spine. ISBN: 9781843834694. A lovely copy.

Almost very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Ten christian saints. Each saint has a full page silhouette by way of illustration. Yellow paper boards with black titles and silhouette to front. Spine and corners bumped, top of spine torn across, boards a little grubby. Some minor scattered foxing to contents. Hinges pulled but stitching firm. Dustwrapper is worn at corners and spine with loss and browned/grubby.
