Almost very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper.
Cream cloth covers with dark titles and deer vignettes. Two-tone frontis plus 4 b/w plates, 2 fold out maps and small b/w repeated illustrations. 125 pages. Spine and corners a little bumped. Browning to spine and board edges. Small bump to bottom of front and rear board. Tissue guard to frontis is creased. Both maps have small tears where they are stuck into the book. The first map is creased at the edges. One plate is detached. Foxing to some pages and the top margin of some plates otherwise contents are clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn, chipped and creased. Remains of a label to rear flap. Small patch of surface paper damage to front flap. Some foxing and marks to panels. Wrapper is grubby.

Leather spine and corners. Cloth covers. With 29 portraits, 7 other illustrations and 21 maps. Large format. Heavy wear to top of spine. Damp marks/browning to covers. Front joint is cracked and therefore prelims detached. Some foxing. A little pen annotation to a couple of pages; damp to some page edges. Creasing, browning and a few tears to fold-out plans. All illustrations and plans are present.

Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Spiral bound inside white cloth covers. B/w photos, also b/w photos on pale green paper plates. Covers lightly browned at edges. The following words have been punch stamped as holes at the bottom of the title page 'Complimentary Copy Not for Sale' else contents fine. Pictorial wrapper is a little edge-chipped. A very nice copy of the first Faber edition.
