Nearly fine condition in a very good dustwrapper.
Three volumes. Large format. Colour and b/w photos. Covering all known indigenous species in the Republic of South Africa, South-West Africa, Botswana, Lesotho & Swaziland. Wrappers of Vol 1 and 2 are covered in self-adhesive clear film. In the case of Volume 3 the clear film has been used to stick the wrapper to the book. Books are fine.

Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
A spirited picture of the life of some South African children on the Veldt. Yellow cloth, brown titles and vignettes. Full-page b/w illustrations. Spine slightly bumped. Light foxing to covers and top edges slightly darkened. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. A couple of foxspots to contents but generally clean. White pictorial wrapper is edge chipped with slight loss, browned to spine and a bit grubby.
