A record of the excavations of 1954-56. Bagendon is a place of mighty earthworks, in the east of the Cotwold Hills in Gloucestershire. The site, the digging, and full studies of the finds. Large format. Brown cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations and photos. Damp staining to lower corner of boards (not too bad). Top & tail of spine and rear lower board edge lightly bumped. Text block lightly browned. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is a bit grubby.
