Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
Poems about everyday things such as school, home, the seaside, etc made to seem new and exciting. Red boards, gilt title to spine. B/w text illustrations. A letter SIGNED by the author is included to the previous owner (D.R. Oldham). Spine and corners bumped. Name in ink to front free-endpaper. Some foxing to contents. Dustwrapper is price-cut and a little foxed.

Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
The drought had lasted for many weeks and there was practically no water left in the wells of the village of Bourne Bridge. Hiram, Sykes, Michael and Ernest went down the canal each day to the town for water. One day Hiram found an ancient book which told how a wheel with a bell on it was rolled down the hill to find water. So he sets out to find water.... Cream boards, brown title to spine. B/w illustrations to text. 175 pages. Slight bumping to spine. Endpapers are light and partly browned. Small booksellers sticker to front pastedown. Dustwrapper is just a tiny bit creased at top of spine and a little faded at base.

Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
The fourth in the Brogeen series. Green boards, gilt title to spine. 160 pages. B/w text illustrations. Top half inch of spine is browned; smaller area to base of spine. Light foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Wrapper is price-cut with edge-creasing; top half inch of spine is torn off; also small triangular piece of loss along bottom edge of front panel.
