Brown cloth, elaborate gilt decoration. Pictorial endpapers. Colour plates. A lovely copy contained in publisher's slipcase which is faded at open edges and has a couple of grubby marks (VG).

Brown cloth. Gilt title to spine. Large pictorial onlay to front. Blue pictorial endpapers. 8 colour plates plus b/w illustrations. Front board a little marked and pictorial onlay scuffed. Bookplate to verso of front endpaper. Scattered foxing throughout. All plates present with some pale foxing to margins. One hinge pulled.
