The tale of a lovely medieval castle and its chatelaine. Yellow cloth, blue titles to spine. B/w illustrations. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Contents very good indeed. Price-cut wrapper is browned to spine, rubbed at folds and has slight loss at top and tail of spine and corners and a couple of old tape marks to front panel.

Faint mottling to covers, light fading to top edges, small white spots to bottom edges of covers. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with a few chips and tears, spine browned, folds foxed. Panels grubby with two patches of label residue to front panel. Blue stain from cover at bottom of front panel, more visible on verso.
