Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Red boards, black title to spine and "The Abbey School Series" vignette to front board. Colour frontis. 256 pages, top edge red. Spine and corners bumped. Endpapers foxed, pages browned. Top edge faded. Wrapper is creased and grubby with 1 inch loss at top of spine, with tape and sticky paper repairs / strengthening to verso.

Large format. Yellow cloth spine. Black pictorial boards. Superb vivid full-page colour illustrations. Spine is bumped, a little worn and browned. Corners and cover edges are worn. Some scratch marks and small areas of surface paper damage to front cover. Back cover is slightly grubby with some light stains. Endpapers are browned. Closed tear of approx. 3cm to bottom edge of page 29/30. Only a very odd mark mark. Illustrations lovely and bright.
