Very good condition.
The period of National Prohibition in America in the 1920s and 1930s. As one of the law enforcement agencies charged with the suppression of the illegal liquor traffice, the United States Coast Guard was deeply involved in what has become known as 'The Rum War'. Red cloth boards, gilt title to spine and vignette to front. B/w photos and chapter headers. A few small knocks to board edges. Boards a little grubby, marked to rear board. Text block browned. Name in ink to top of front endpaper. Else contents clean.
