Spine faded. Lower corners lightly bumped. Mark to lower edge of text block. Contents clean. All plates present. Contained in original glassine wrapper which has small patch of loss from top edge of rear panel, chipping to base of spine and folds, 2" tear to front panel. Original price sticker to rear panel.

Almost very good condition.
Telling the story of Pickles the puppy who is always getting into a pickle! Large format. Brick red cloth spine, with gilt title. Green cloth covers with orange and gilt titles. 24 delightful colour plates. Recased in original covers, joints professionally repaired and rear free-endpaper backed as some loss to edges. Some pages and plates slightly worn to edges where they were loose before repairs. Some creases to pages. Light browning mainly to margins of text pages, plates bright and clean. Inscription in ink and small newspaper clipping (about Peter the lost Budgerigar!) fixed with white tape to verso of front-endpaper. Musty odour to contents. Still a decent copy of a scarce title, now in sound binding.

Red cloth with gilt title to spine and elaborate peacock and elephant design to front cover. 20 superb colour plates, tipped onto cream card with decorative border and each with a tissue-guard. Spine and corners bumped. Uneven fading to spine and boards. Dated inscription in ink to front endpaper, the imprint of which can be seen on the half-title page. Some page browning and foxing with many pages being clean. Plates are in fine condition.

Small bump to top of rear board which also affects internal pages. Boards are grubby. Small red mark to top of front board. Name and date to front endpaper. Front joint beginning to crack. One hinge cracked. Erased writing and slightly sticky residue possibly from removal of label to front endpaper which is a little grubby. Some foxing and fingering to contents.

Slightly better than good condition.
Timothy Peek-a-Boo decides to become a soldier. Paper boards with pictorial onlay and brown titles, 7.75 x 6.5". Illustrated endpapers. 4 plates plus b/w text illustrations. Spine reglued into place, some damage at top and bottom. Wear to corners. Some browning to cover edges and a few marks to covers and onlay. Front joint cracked with glue seeped through from spine repair showing along joint. Tiny tear to top edge of front endpaper. Half-title page browned. Some marks to contnets but many pages are clean. Last plate has marks to margin and a little wax(?) to picture. Brown spot on lower edge affects last couple of pages and endpapers.
