A two volume work - this is volume two ONLY. Examines genera of Old World pitcher plants (Nepenthes and Cephalotus) and documents the ecology and natural diversity of every known species in detail. Black cloth boards, silver title to spine. Colour photos. This volume contains pages 633 - 1399. ISBN: 9780955891830. Glue (used in binding process) can be seen at front and rear joint. Top of spine of contents is detached from top of spine board (see photo - not bad). Binding is tight. Contents fine. Pictorial dustwrapper is very lightly rubbed at corners.

Nearly fine condition in a nearly fine dustwrapper.
The family Sarraceniaceae consists of three genera of carnivorous pitcher plants. This volume handles all Sarraceniaceae from South America, including all known Heliamphora species (of which five are new and introduced here), as well as all known natural hybrids and three incompletely diagnosed Heliamphora taxa which have never been documented before. Black cloth boards, silver title to spine. Colour photos throughout. xi and 566 pages. ISBN: 9780955891878. SIGNED by author (Stewart McPherson) with no dedication to title page. A lovely copy. Pictorial dustwrapper has minor rubbing to rear corner of base of spine and a tiny nick to vertical fold of rear panel.
