Published by Alan Sutton. 1st thus. 1988
Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. First published in 1967 by Lutterworth Press, republished with a new preface. Historical and topographical facts for these towns, specimen plans show what medieval planners thought a town should include. Black cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos, maps and plans.
Top & tail of spine bumped. Text block slightly grubby. Tape marks to pastedowns. Book has possibly been dropped at some point, leading to rear pastedown tearing (no loss). Pictorial dustwrapper is faded to spine and vertical imperfection to laminate to rear panel (not obliterating text).
