Very good condition in a good dustwrapper.
Frances Pentire is delighted to be able to ride a beautiful chestnut horse after her own is injured. But someone is trying to get him away from his owner by unscrupulous methods. Brick red/brown cloth with silver title to spine. B/w illustrations. 224 pages. Boards ligthly marked. Lower corners of boards lightly bumped, lower edges of boards lightly rubbed with light fraying. Spine is slightly cocked. Text block browned with a few foxspots. A few foxspots to contents, mainly prelims and rear endpapers. A few minor margin marks. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn and torn with tape repairs, loss to top & tail of spine, spine is faded, rear panel is scuffed and grubby.

Red cloth boards, gilt title to spine. Colour and b/w photos. ISBN: 0709038577. A lovely copy. Pictorial dustwrapper is faded to spine and has a small edge-tear (no loss) to top of spine, rear panel is lightly scuffed.
