Ladybird Series 413. Red pictorial paper boards. Colour illustrations. Top 1-2" of spine are split (both sides), with some creasing. Smaller split to base of spine. Light damp mark to bottom of rear cover. A bit of surface paper damage to front endpaper/pastedown, where something was once stuck. Couple of closed margin tears to endpapers. A few margin marks. Illustrations are in excellent condition. Wrapper is creased with tears and chips, with some substantial loss to edges.

Corners are bumped and worn, with a little chipping. Inscription in ink and ink stamp name to front endpaper. A few light margin marks. Contained in a LATER wrapper (3/6 net) which is torn and creased, with loss to top and tail of spine and a couple of edges; faded to spine.
