Almost very good condition.
New Edition. Small format. Cream, red and blue decorated boards, pictorial onlay to front cover (design by Ernest Aris). 4 colour plates and b/w text illustrations. Boards browned, lightly rubbed at corners. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Centre hinge is pulled but binding is tight. Grubby finger marks to contents.

Blue cloth spine with black titles and vignette. Pictorial front board showing a girl and a boy with a boat. Red titles. Colour and b/w illustrations. First story is Mrs. Orpington's Odd Chicken by Agness E. Cash. Spine bumped and browned. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges rubbed. Rear cover is grubby. Front board slightly rubbed. Remains of book label to front endpaper. Browning to endpapers, title page and some page edges. Some hinges cracked. Foxing mainly to page edges. One plate creased at top corner. Dusty marks to last page of text, although text is still legible.

Large format. Red cloth spine. Front cover shows children watching Santa Claus disappear into a forest. First story is The Brownietown Christmas Alphabet. Colour plates plus b/w and two-tone illustrations. Spine bumped. Corners worn. Cover edges slightly rubbed. Rear cover is a bit scuffed. Name and address in ink to front pastedown. Foxing to contents (some heavy). One page corner has not been trimmed correctly during the binding process and is creased.

All plates present. Centre hinge pulled. '15' in ink to top margin of one page else contents clean.
