Some very light marks to cloth (dust)? Contained in a red slipcase which has a few small, light marks to one side.

Remains of book label to front endpaper. Browning to endpapers, title page and some page edges. Some hinges cracked. Foxing mainly to page edges. One plate creased at top corner. Dusty marks to last page of text, although text is still legible.

Inscription in ink plus a pencil drawn circle to the verso of the frontis. Couple of plates (one colour and one four tone) have ragged edges. Some foxing mostly to page edges and grubby marks to contents.

Bottom of rear board bumped. Rear board is a little grubby. Light scuffing/scratch marks to front board. Front joint reinforced. Rear joint and some hinges cracked. Endpapers are browned. Name and date to verso of title page. Creasing to bottom of some pages. Light foxing mainly to page edges plus some grubby marks although many pages are clean.

Darkening to some cover edges and a few small marks to covers. Presentation inscription written on front endpaper. Partial browning to endpapers. Foxing, mainly to prelims and page edges. Dustwrapper has large tears to front panel, is edge worn, torn and creased with a little loss and a little grubby.
