Red cloth, yellow titles and magnifying glass vignette. B/w illustrations. The third adventure of the Five Find-Outers and Dog. Some uneven fade/possible damp marks to covers. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing and grubby marks to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is torn and chipped, with some pieces of loss; damp marked with grubby marks and some fading. Parts of title to front panel of wrapper have been written inside.

Five little card wrap books contained in box shaped to look like a sweetshop with opening door at front. The books are generally very good with some foxing and light page browning. The front cover of book 1 has indentations to front cover (from heavy pencil marks?) and a small stain to top edge of rear cover. The box is worn, grubby and foxed on the inside with a tape reinforcement to the shop of the shaped section of the shop (on the verso).
