Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
Little Maythorn is a quiet country railway station and for Mike and his family it is a case of 'All Change' when his father becomes the station master there. Red boards, black titles. B/w illustrations. 215 pages. 7.5 x 5". Spine bumped. Foxing to textblock and endpapers. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn and grubby to rear panel (small drink stain to rear panel).

A colourful and exciting story for boys and girls laid in Restoration England and early American Colonies. Blue cloth boards, red title block to spine with gilt title. B/w illustrations. Blue mark to spine. Cloth to base of spine and lower 1/3 of rear board creased. Top corner of front board creased. Text block a little browned. Contents generally clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn with a few closed tears and small chips, blue biro to 'G' and 'y' of title, spine browned, rear panel grubby.

Black boards with gilt title to spine. American edition. ISBN: 081490758X. SIGNED by author, with dedication to a previous owner on front endpaper. Couple of small knocks to top and tail of spine. Foxing to outer page edges. Small sticker has been removed from front pastedown - so showing surface paper lifting. Wrapper has slight fading to spine.
